Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and BTCode about your use of bimdump. Using the service means accepting them.
bimdump is published by BTCode, a société par actions simplifiée (SASU) with a share capital of 500 EUR, registered under RCS Nice 909 337 057, registered office 181 avenue de Pessicart, Le Grand Large II, 06100 Nice, France. Contact: contact@bimdump.com. Hosting is provided by OVH, whose servers for this service are in Montreal, Canada.
1. What the service is
bimdump is an inbox for capturing things quickly — text, voice notes, photos and files — and processing them later. It runs in a browser and on your own devices, and it keeps your entries synchronised between them. It is a personal tool, not a backup service and not a storage provider: keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old, or old enough to consent to the handling of your own data where you live, whichever is higher. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may agree to these terms for it.
3. Your account
One account belongs to one person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens through your account. Tell us at contact@bimdump.com if you believe someone else has access to it.
4. Your content stays yours
Everything you capture remains yours. You grant no licence beyond what running the service requires: storing your entries, transmitting them between your devices, and showing them back to you. Nothing you capture is published, made public, shown to another user, used for advertising, or used to train anything.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not store anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to hold.
- Do not use it as a file host or a content delivery service — it is an inbox for your own use, and uploads are capped at 50 MB each for that reason.
- Do not attempt to reach another account's data, disrupt the service, or work around its rate limits.
- Do not automate use in a way that degrades the service for others.
6. Availability, and no warranty
bimdump is provided as it is, with no guarantee of availability and no service level. It can be interrupted for maintenance, can fail, and can change. Features may be added or removed. Nothing here promises the service will be fit for any particular purpose of yours.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, BTCode is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for data you did not keep a copy of elsewhere. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time, and delete your account yourself from Settings in the app; see Delete your account. Deletion is permanent, and what it removes and when is set out in the Privacy Policy.
An account can be suspended or closed if it is used in breach of section 5, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told first and given a chance to retrieve your data.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to use bimdump after that means accepting the new version; if you would rather not, delete your account.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer in the European Union you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before its courts. Please write to us first — most things are settled by an email.
